My client, within food manufacturing, pride themselves in being one of the market leaders in career progression are now seeking a dedicated Food Hygiene Trainer to join their team!
As a Food Hygiene Trainer, you will play a crucial role in delivering operational hygiene and food safety training to colleagues in the hygiene department, ensuring that they have all the necessary skills and knowledge to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver training to the hygiene team, covering areas such as hygiene cleaning methodology, processing equipment, PPE, GMP, health and safety and COSHH
• Provide learners with relevant information and resources to enhance their understanding and food safety hygiene practices
• Train and support shop floor hygiene works in implementing and maintain proper hygiene standards
• Monitor and review the progress of learners, offering guidance and support as needed
• Liaise with food safety and hygiene managers to identify training requirements and ensure training programs align with organisational goals
• Keep up to date with SOP’s and document control processes, ensuring that training materials reflect the most current guidelines
• Generate weekly training reports to track the effectiveness of training initiatives and identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
• In-dept knowledge of HACCAP principles and implementation
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations and best practices
• Familiarity with health and safety protocols in a food manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of production and manufacturing processes
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and proactive approach
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
