Production Operatives are required for a Whitby based client to assist in the Production process. Our Whitby based client is preparing for a busy uplift due to demand in orders.
As a Production Operative you will expect to be paid an £8.95 an hour as standard rate, with overtime rates available at £13.43 an hour and £17.90 an hour. Working hours are on a 3 shift rotating model, 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am. In March, these shifts are set to alter to a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, this is anticipated to be a block of 4 shifts on an 8am-8pm shift, followed by 4 days off before returning to 4 nights on an 8pm-8am.
Requirements of a Production Operative are;
- Working alongside the Machine Operatives
- Assisting with unloading of completed product off the production line
- Loading completed items onto pallets to shrink wrap and label items ready for dispatch
- This is a physically demanding role and you will be required to lift heavy items
