Sawmill Operative

We are currently recruiting for sawmill operative for our respective client based on the outskirts of Ryedale area on a temporary ongoing basis. This position is full-time hours working 5 days a week Monday to Friday.

This role is physically demanding and must be able to work independently and in a team. You must have clear communication skills as you will be reporting to the owner.

Location: Helmsley

Pay: £8.72

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate for the sawmill operative will take responsibility to produce high-quality products. This list detailed below is not exhausted.

• Cleaning of the yard
• Maintaining a high standard
• Adhering to all site rules and safety
• Working to the specific guidelines
• Completing orders effectively
• Manual handling

Requirements:

To be considered for the role of a sawmill operative you must have the following.

• Experience in a sawmill
• Flt license (desirable)
• Use of machinery
• Willing to learn to develop
