SUMMARY

Our large, stable client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. They offer an excellent work life balance, positive culture, established processes and procedures and promote from within. The Senior Accountant is responsible for providing accurate and timely accounting support in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This position is hybrid so candidates need to live in Atlanta.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares and maintains balance sheet account reconciliations and general ledger account analyses and prepares periodic review presentations for accounting management.
• Maintenance of General Ledger. Responsibilities include new account set-up, general ledger close/adjustments, and working with the accounting team to resolve issues
• Participates in external audit as necessary by assisting Manager in the preparation of required schedules and supplemental information, and/or responding to inquiries of external auditors

REQUIREMENTS

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting required
• 3+ years of GL accounting
• CPA or CPA - track preferred
• US GAAP experience
• Large ERP system experience
