Hours: Monday - Friday | 9 hour shifts | flexible hours

About the Company

We are a leading aerospace metals supplier, operating a fast‑paced warehouse facility supporting customers across the aerospace and precision engineering industries. We are now seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day‑to‑day running of the site and lead a high‑performing operational team.

The Role

As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the full warehouse operation. You will manage 3 Team Leaders and a wider team of 20 Warehouse and Saw Operatives, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality production through saws and warehouse processes.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys leading from the front, driving performance, and supporting operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations across goods‑in, saw processing, production flow, and dispatch
  • Lead, mentor, and support 3 Team Leaders and a team of 20 Operatives
  • Assist with shift planning, resource allocation, and workflow management
  • Ensure production deadlines are met, particularly for saw processing
  • Willingness to operate saws and forklifts when required (training provided if needed)
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, productivity, and operational performance
  • Conduct weekly reviews and feedback sessions with Team Leaders
  • Maintain a strong focus on health & safety and compliance
  • Work closely with senior management and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support staff development, training, and performance management

About You

  • Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production supervisory role
  • Ideally from a metals background — aerospace experience is a strong advantage
  • Confident people leader with the ability to motivate and coach teams
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload in a fast‑paced environment
  • Hands‑on approach and willingness to support operational tasks
  • Competent with KPIs, reporting, and working closely with management
  • FLT licence and/or saw operation experience beneficial, but training can be provided
