A very exciting opportunity has come up to join a family-run telecommunications provider who are going through very exciting time of growth, meaning there is plenty of room for career progression.

Salary: £23,000 – £27,000 (Depending on experience) + commission after probation
Location: Office base, Fareham
Working pattern: Monday – Friday 09.00 – 17.00


Job description:
Your role will be to generate sales by making outbound calls in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential business to buy services. The goal is to promote business growth by expanding the company’s clientele.


Key duties and responsibilities
• Cold call potential new businesses using a given phone directory to sell products
• Answer incoming calls from prospective business
• Use marketing scripts to provide information about product’s features, prices etc. and present their benefits
• Ask pertinent questions to understand the businesses requirements ensuring they qualify in line with the key criteria and obtaining commitment from the decision maker for an appointment.
• Progress, warm up date and manage pipeline
• Record the customer’s personal information accurately in a computer system and keep records of calls and sales and record useful information
• Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales


Experience
• Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
• Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas over the phone
• Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
• Excellent communication skills and confident speaking to DMs
• Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints
• Persistent and results-oriented
• Have the drive to grow a small business
• Be able to work independently
• Excellent timekeeping and diary management skills
