Vinova are working with an Australian owned renewable energy business focused on large scale energy storage. As Executive Director, Development, you will work closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team to guide the development and delivery of utility scale projects. You will help establish and shape a dedicated development and delivery function, partnering with colleagues across finance, commercial, engineering, grid and environment, as well as a broad range of external stakeholders.

What will you be responsible for?

Portfolio leadership
Oversee the development and delivery of multiple utility scale energy storage projects, supporting teams to achieve strong outcomes across the portfolio.

Team leadership
Build, support and develop a high performing, multi disciplinary development and delivery team, creating clarity, trust and shared accountability.

Strategy
Contribute to and align teams around clear priorities and delivery plans, ensuring project success.

Financial performance and operational oversight
Provide governance across schedule, cost, risk, safety and quality, enabling informed decision making and consistent delivery.

• Senior leadership experience delivering complex energy projects

• Proven experience across the renewable energy development lifecycle, including greenfield and M&A projects
• Sound commercial judgement across contracting, risk allocation and cost control
• Confidence working with diverse stakeholders across multiple concurrent projects
