Graduate Analyst at Centrica

At Centrica Energy Trading, our employees are our greatest asset, and our graduate analysts form a a strong foundation to nourish this.. Immersed in the world of energy trading and international asset management, you’ll gain valuable insights into finance, trading, asset management and business development within power, natural gas and energy commodities.
Starting September 1. 2022 and spanning 24 months, the program will be designed to fit your individual interests and ambitions, and you’ll rotate through a total of three departments, developing a holistic view of the business. You’ll gain insights into a variety of functions and build solid all round knowledge of our business and the European energy sector as a whole.
Our graduates are given real responsibilities and work on real business projects in a fast-paced environment, so our graduate program is a great opportunity to test drive a career in energy asset management and forge the path for a successful international career. Most of your graduate period will be at our headquarters in Aalborg, however, you’ll also have an opportunity to spend part of the programme at Centrica’s UK headquarters on Oxford Street in London.
The Ideal Profile
We’re looking for newly graduated candidates with an analytical and strategic mindset. Experience from the energy sector is not a requirement, but you need to be curious and have the drive needed to absorb knowledge needed and overcome a steep initial learning curve.
We expect that you bring a natural curiosity and drive, where you push for your own results and achievements, and of course, great communication skills are a plus.
The programme is well suited for candidates within Economics, Finance, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Engineering and Computer Science.
