IT Support Technician
Location: South Wales (Office-based – Crickhowell)
Salary: Dependent on experience

 

An established and expanding online education provider is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join its growing IT team in South Wales. This is a broad and varied role within a hands-on environment, supporting a large remote workforce and student community.

 

The Role

You will provide remote IT support to over 400 employees and 8,000 students, while contributing to a range of IT operational tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior IT support experience who is looking to broaden their exposure within a dynamic and fast-growing organisation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Log, prioritise and resolve IT support requests effectively

  • Provide remote support to staff and students

  • Administer and maintain IT assets

  • Set up and maintain IT hardware

  • Support and troubleshoot software including Microsoft 365 and Adobe Connect

  • Escalate issues to internal teams or third-party providers as required

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

About You

  • Previous experience in an IT support role (essential)

  • Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365

  • Methodical and logical problem-solving skills

  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail

  • Calm and empathetic approach to user support

  • Ability to manage expectations and build professional relationships

  • Team player who contributes ideas and shares knowledge
