Position:

An HR Advisor is required to join a Financial Services business in York, North Yorkshire on a 9-12-month fixed term contract.

An exciting opportunity to join a friendly, professional and dedicated HR Team for a 9-12-month period as an HR Advisor. A competitive salary is on offer as well as decent holiday entitlement and flexible working hours.

Duties:

You will be supporting managers and staff on a wide variety of HR related issues as well as working collaboratively with the HR team to monitor, review and update policies as and when needed

• Provide support and advice to line managers on all HR policies and procedures
• Support with all employee relation issues inclusive of absence management, disciplinaries & grievances
• Lead on absence management monitoring and liaising with payroll
• Actively support and guide managers in terms of their people management skills and effectively being able to lead their team through legislation, policies and procedures
• Manage and lead on HR project work as and when required

Requirements:

I am keen to speak with anyone who is an experienced HR professional with proven experience at HR Advisor level, with the knowledge, understanding, and experience of a variety of HR-related issues, inclusive of employee relations. Ideally, you will come from a Financial Services background
