HR Advisor (VC9335) Leeds, England

Salary: GBP30000 - GBP35000 per annum

The Position:

An experienced HR Advisor is required on a 9-month FTC for a global distribution business based near Leeds, West Yorkshire.

An opportunity to join a high performing and experienced team supporting the HR Management in all aspects of operational generalist HR.

Duties:

Provide professional support and advice to management and employees on generalist HR issues including:

  • Disciplinary and Grievance
  • Absence and lateness
  • HR Policies and Procedures
  • Equality and Diversity and conditions of employment

Additionally, you will support the recruitment and assist with implementing HR strategies, ensuring sound understanding across sites via various methods of communication. You will also be responsible for ensuring that employee records are updated and maintained ensuring compliance with confidentiality and data protection.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified to level 5, or studying towards, and demonstrate a strong HR generalist background gained in a distribution or logistics environment, or similar, have good organisational skills, be able to use their own initiative as well as work as part of a team. Excellent IT skills are essential and good communication skills, interpersonal skills, and a sense of humour are paramount to this role.
