Litigation NQ – Birmingham / Warwickshire – EXCLUSIVE ROLE

Top national firm seeks an NQ Solicitor to join their busy professional negligence team.  This role is ideal for you if you have undertaken seats in litigation and property and you have a passion for problem-solving.

Day to day responsibilities:

• Supporting a director in triaging and overseeing incoming work.  This is predominantly professional indemnity work but includes any claims relating to management liability, office and cyber insurance policies
• Developing and managing a caseload of claims work
• Attending meetings with insurers and brokers
• Internal reporting
• Assisting with data breaches, information security and cyber incidents
• Handling a variety of litigation and other legal matters

About you:

• A ‘can do’ attitude, a willingness to upskill, and the confidence to advise partners and fee earners
• Working knowledge of the SRA’s Standards & Regulations
• Exceptional drafting skills and legal research ability
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills
• Experience of case and document management systems and a high degree of I.T. literacy
• A team player with a proactive and adaptable approach
