About the role

The Operations Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality customer, administrative and operational services for all clients within a Government Services site. The Operations Team Leader is also responsible for delivery of services to ensure Government Services meets program compliance requirements.


The candidate we seek will ideally have the following:

Essential:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the operational requirements in an educational site setting to ensure quality delivery and to fulfil reporting and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated effective people leadership
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise work tasks effectively
  • Demonstrated commitment to highly professional ethical standards
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, language, literacy and numeracy skills in a multi-cultural learning environment
  • Demonstrated awareness of a range of cultural perspectives and sensitive approaches relevant to our clients
  • Ability to manage financial budgets
  • Demonstrated effective leadership and management of teams
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise work tasks effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with local community forums, external agencies and service providers
  • Demonstrated awareness of a range of cultural perspectives and sensitive approaches relevant to our clients
  • Displays initiative, innovation and flexibility in the coordination of people and programs

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in government contract management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of compliance in the regulatory environment
