Brand Manager

Brand Manager (GMBM) Dublin North, Republic of Ireland

Main Responsibilities

 

The Role:                                           

  • Implementation of the brands activity calendar effectively and within budget
  • Liaising with and managing delivery from external agencies
  • Management of complex key events such as Bloom, First Harvest Celebration etc
  • Development of tailored key customer plans and meeting/ liaising with key customers to ensure their requirements are fulfilled and a strong brand performance is delivered
  • Continual performance analysis, highlighting issues and garnering a deeper understanding of such issues to create opportunities to address them accordingly
  • NPD management from concept through to launch including consumer research, concept development, product development and launch plans
  • Ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required

 

Key skills

  •  Will have 3-5 years branded marketing experience, preferably within FMCG or food industry
  • Will be passionate about the food industry and branding
  • Will have demonstrated good knowledge and understanding of consumers insight and will have strong interest in staying informed of external trends and developments that may affect our brand
  • Familiar with market analysis tools such as Nielson, Dunnhumby, EYC etc and understands how to use these systems to the brands benefit
  • Will have the ability to take a medium to long term view and deliver consistent brand messaging throughout
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to work closely and seamlessly with other team members and cross functional teams and the ability to manage external agencies is essential to the success of this role
  • Will have a good commercial understanding and an analytical aptitude
  • Will not be afraid to take responsibility with a "can do" problem solving attitude
  • Will have a proactive, independent and energised approach to working under pressure
  • Must have own transport

 

Education & Training :

  • Business or Marketing BA/BS Degree
  • Will have 3-5 years branded marketing experience, preferably within FMCG or food industry
