Our client, a leading Italian company in the aerospace logistics sector, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to strengthen their commercial development and global partnerships. They deliver high-value logistics solutions tailored to the needs of MROs, Part 145 maintenance organisations, and airline operators.

This methodology ensures their logistics solutions align with high regulatory and quality standards, promoting efficiency, accountability, and customer satisfaction.Day to day duties will include but are not limited to:
Key responsabilities:
- Drive commercial growth and client acquisition in the aerospace and aviation industry
- Manage and expand long-term relationships with airline partners, MROs, and aerospace stakeholders
- Promote and sell integrated logistics services, including aeronautical transport of components and equipment
- Lead the development of tailored technical-commercial proposals and manage contract negotiations
- Ensure compliance with aviation standards (Part 145, EN9120), working closely with logistics, quality, and operations teams
- Analyse market trends, scout for new business opportunities, and represent the company at trade fairs and industry events
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient, timely, and compliant service delivery across cargo, import/export, and customs operations
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in a commercial or business development role within aerospace logistics or MRO
- Strong knowledge of international shipping processes, customs practices, and aviation regulatory standards
- Strategic mindset focused on continuous improvement (Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies)
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results
- Availability for domestic and international travel (disponibilità a trasferte nazionali e internazionali)
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Business Economics, Logistics, or related field
- Proficiency in data analysis and enterprise software (MS Office, SAP)
- Fluency in English and Italian (mandatory); other languages are a plus
