About the opportunity
In this role you will be responsible to manage the whole Finance & Operation function of the business partnering heavily with various key stakeholders. You will be second in command to the General Manager and have a dotted line report to the Global CFO. This is a hands-on role and will suit an individual who gets involved in the daily operations within finance.
Duties
- Manage team of ~7 direct reports across Finance and Operations
- Prepare budget, forecasts and variance analysis
- Liaise with internal and external auditors and consultants
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports
- Ensure timely and accurate results
- Manage all financial accounting incl month, quarter and year-end, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning
- Provide strategic support to the GM
- Ad hoc requests & project work as needed
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years' experience
- CA or CPA qualified
- US GAAP experience
- SAP experience
- Strong communication, ability to push back, have strategic discussions
- Team management experience
- Experience working in a matrix environment
