Bid Administrator

Bid Administrator (KF-BA) Prescot, England

Salary: GBP18000 - GBP25000 per annum

HCRG has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our successful Bid team and support the Head of Bids & Partnerships in all administrative duties based in Prescot, Merseyside.

The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to requests from internal and external stakeholders, managing daily emails and portal notifications, and populating pre-qualification/selection questionnaire contents.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Receive, process, record and track all incoming tenders and alerts
  • Take ownership of internal tender/outcome tracking systems
  • Maintain all tendering/response portals with up-to-date company information/documents
  • Organise and arrange meetings/event attendance and bid calendars/diaries
  • Assist with and populate pre-qualification/selection questionnaires/applications as instructed and within deadline
  • Support with the formatting/quality control activities of bid/tender applications and supporting material
  • Provide general administrative support in a timely manner
  • Co-ordinate communication across the bid team for individual tender cycles
  • Conduct research projects upon request of Bid Manager/Senior Writer
  • Be responsible for sourcing and providing information and documents from the Bid Library
  • Any other duties as required

To apply for this role you will need:

  • Experience as Bid Administrator or an Administrative role
  • Knowledge of a commercial Bid/Procurement or business development environment
  • Experience of working previously within similar sectors/organisations
  • The ability to work both as a team member and on own initiative when required
  • Experience of using Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication / interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal and written English with an excellent eye for detail
