Salary: GBP9 - GBP9 per hour

Call Handler - Work From Home

£9 per hour - Ongoing contract until end of October

Days Required - Wednesday - Saturday

 

We are currently recruiting for our client based in Warrington who are working alongside the Government on a number of Call Handler roles to support with the Covid-19 Pandemic.

 

This role is currently Work From Home however you will need to be able to go on site periodically to access equipment etc so please ensure Warrington is an accessible area for you. 

 

Please note you will need to have access to laptop / desktop for this role and it must be Windows or Google based, not Mac. 

 

Telephony experience isn't essential, we're keen to speak to candidates from a variety of customer service backgrounds.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Speaking with vulnerable individuals who may require support
  • Making calls to individuals to ensure support and guidance is given 
  • Arranging for deliveries to individuals house 
  • Handling calls from the public regarding Covid-19
  • Provide a friendly, supportive and helpful service

 

What are we looking for?

  • Previous customer service experience - contact centre is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to empathise with individuals who may be worried / struggling
  • Computer literate - able to pick up new systems

 

Pay rate - 

  • £9 per hour 

 

Hours of work - 

  • Up to 4 days per week dependant on the rota
  • Days requiring cover - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday
  • Shifts between 8am-8pm - must be fully flexible 

 

Due to the nature of the role successful candidates will need to be able to pass a DBS check.
