THE COMPANY

We are currently recruiting motivated and reliable forklift operators for our agricultural manufacturing client who have a fantastic facility located in Truganina!

This position is working Monday to Friday every week, 7:00am start to 3:30pm with the occasional early finish on a Friday when its not busy.

During the peak production times  (Dec-Feb) you will be required to work overtime on a daily basis, and could be working up to 10 hour shifts each day to keep up with production requirements. 

Non peak hours: Mon-Fri 7am-3.30pm

Peak hours (Dec-Feb): 6am-4pm Mon-Fri with 1 day on a weekend required

Overtime is paid at a casual OT rate!

Duties Include:

• Operation of reach and counterbalance forklifts to load & unload trucks
• Putaways into the warehouse
• Staging of pallets and bulk bags for outbound orders
• Use of computer and warehouse management system
• Using iPad to pick and put away orders
• Manual re stacking of 15kg bags of seed when required
• Palletising, wrapping and labelling of orders

The successful applicants:

• Have excellent written, verbal and mathematical skills
• Confident using computers and ipads every day
• A desire to work hard and get the job done
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg
• Possess a great work ethic and able to work as part of a team
• Availability to commit to one day of a weekend for the peak period
• Must be able to pass a drug & alcohol
