A leading Australian Professional Services company is seeking an Applications Manager to lead the way in modernising and optimising how the firm uses technology to stay ahead.

Key responsibilities

• Owning the roadmap, strategy, and lifecycle of the firm’s key business applications.
• Managing and mentoring a high-performing team of five Application Specialists — uplifting their technical capability and fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.
• Take ownership of the strategy for key business applications including Aderant, NetDocuments, and InTapp. 
• Designing and delivering technology solutions that streamline business processes and enhance user experience.
• Partnering with stakeholders to understand operational needs and ensure applications deliver measurable business value.
• Shaping the firm’s IT culture, helping shift the mindset from reactive support to proactive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Managing vendors, licensing, upgrades, and integrations across all core business platforms.
• Monitoring system performance and user feedback, and using insights to drive ongoing improvements.
