Excellent job opportunity for a Sample Management Coordinator for this global pharmaceutical company in Cork.
You must have a minimum 3 years' GMP industry experience
The purpose of this job is to work as a coordinator of the Sample Management group , to support technical and analytical tasks.
Duties
- Co-ordinating and carrying out sample pulls, ensuring accuracy in all sample movement, and aliquoting as required.
- Responding to ad-hoc requests for sample pulls and information relating to sample management.
- Administration of documentation with reference to samples, i.e. receipt of external sample results and entry onto LIMS.
- Reference material inventory management.
- Generating reports
- Ensuring that all team members are trained
- Involvement in forecasting and scheduling of activities within QC sample management.
- Act as SME for sample management taking personal ownership of/ being the key point of contact for QC for sample management.
- Lead quality and EHS investigations
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in a Scientific Discipline
- 3 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical industry GMP laboratory
- Experience in a leadership capacity is desirable.
- Good communication skills
- Accuracy, attention to detail
