Salary: GBP35000 - GBP40000 per annum

Search are supporting the recruitment of a Payroll Officer in Stirling on a part-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional seeking a flexible part-time role within a supportive and established team.

You'll play a key role in ensuring payroll is processed accurately, efficiently and in line with current legislation, while acting as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers across the business.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Processing weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and within agreed deadlines
• Managing starters, leavers and contractual changes
• Checking payroll data and resolving discrepancies
• Processing statutory payments, deductions and pension contributions
• Maintaining accurate and confidential payroll records
• Responding to payroll queries from employees and managers
• Supporting payroll reconciliations and reporting requirements
• Ensuring payroll activities comply with legislation and internal procedures
• Providing general payroll administration and support to the wider team

Skills and experience that will benefit your application:
• Previous payroll experience, ideally processing weekly and monthly payrolls
• Demonstrable understanding of HMRC requirements, statutory deductions and pension administration
• Experience carrying out payroll reconciliations and maintaining controls
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to manage payroll queries professionally
• Comfortable using payroll and HR systems
• Payroll qualification or equivalent payroll experience beneficial
