Location: North London (N7 0JE)

Pay: £21.00 per hour + Holiday Pay

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (occasional early, late and weekend working)

Contract: Ongoing Temporary




Are you an experienced manager with a passion for supporting people experiencing homelessness?

We're looking for an Outreach Manager to lead a dedicated outreach team delivering high-quality, person-centred services across North London. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference while leading an experienced team committed to reducing rough sleeping and improving outcomes for vulnerable adults.

 

The Role

You'll lead the day-to-day delivery of outreach services, ensuring effective engagement with people experiencing homelessness and those at risk. You'll oversee staff performance, manage complex cases, develop partnerships, and ensure services meet contractual and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Lead, supervise, and develop an outreach team.

✅ Conduct one-to-one meetings, appraisals, and team development sessions.

✅ Oversee assessments, support planning, safeguarding, and risk management.

✅ Monitor KPIs, audits, and service performance.

✅ Develop strong partnerships with local authorities, NHS services, housing providers, probation, and voluntary organisations.

✅ Promote trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centred practice.

✅ Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, GDPR, and organisational policies.

✅ Support clients to access accommodation, healthcare, benefits, employment, and community services.

 

About You

✔ Management or supervisory experience within homelessness, housing, outreach, or supported housing services.

✔ Strong understanding of homelessness legislation, safeguarding, and multi-agency working.

✔ Experience supporting people with complex needs, including mental health, substance misuse, and multiple disadvantage.

✔ Ability to lead teams, manage performance, and deliver excellent outcomes.

✔ Strong communication, organisational, and partnership-building skills.

✔ Experience in outreach or rough sleeping services is advantageous.
