The successful candidate will lead the management, development and continuous improvement of all Human Resources related activities including Learning and Development, and support the Leadership Team as a Strategic HR Business Partner.

This role is also very hands on, and would suit a HR professional with start-up experience and someone used to operating in a stand-alone capacity.  It will involve working very closely with the Chief Executive, Chief Financial Officer and Leadership Team. 

A generalist role, you will be responsible for assisting the Leadership Team to develop and implement a Group wide Organisational Development strategy and culture programme to drive the engagement agenda.  You will lead organisational change and engagement initiatives, and design and implement a Learning and Training Strategy as well as being responsible for the the performance management process.

Your role will also involve but not be limited to developing, implementing and reviewing policies and procedures, developing effective resource plans, change management, restructuring, TUPE, operational HR support and advisory (including recruitment, discipline, grievance and absence management), developing HR systems, and developing appropriate reward systems.

The ideal HR Business Partner will have a Generalist HR background and experience supporting businesses from both a hands on operational and strategic HR perspective. We are looking for a bright, pacey, energetic person, who thrives on the challenges of growing a business and the ambiguity this can bring.

You must have a degree in HRM, be CIPD qualified and have a background of working at HR Manager Business Partner level within a fast-paced environment, preferably manufacturing.
