We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Executive to join a highly successful business in York. The successful candidate will generate sales opportunities outside of the major retailers on a wide variety of food and drink products.
Some of the Business Development Executive duties are:
- Actively speak to new customers, having meaningful conversations and building long term relationships
- Manage and grow new customer accounts building a good rapport
- Create product support packages for customers
- Assist the Managing Director in commercial strategy across a number of businesses
- Support with major retail account management from time to time
- Create realistic forecasts for supply chain
- Achieve set targets
- Represent the businesses in a highly professional manner
The ideal Business Development Executive will:
- Be highly competitive and ambitious with a desire to grow new business
- Work well without supervision and set themselves very high standards
- Enjoys a fast-paced environment
- Having experience working within Sales in the Food Industry is desirable but not essential
This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm earning a salary between £30,000 to £35,000 depending on your skills and experience plus commission. You will also receive excellent training with the potential to become a Brand Manager.
