Business Development Executive

Business Development Executive (RL12141) York, England

Salary: GBP30000 - GBP45000 per annum

Our client is a greatly innovative Foods and Drinks business based near York and due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a highly experienced Business Development Executive to continue to drive new business sales across the UK. The successful candidate will have a proven sales background encompassing new business, account management, up-selling and have excellent negotiation skills. Your role will be to drive sales growth against targets using a well-established network, lead generation and conversation as well as face to face meetings. You will be driven, self-motivated and above all have demonstrable experience in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

 

The role of the Business Development Executive includes:

  • Following up sales leads and converting into qualified new business opportunities.
  • Generating leads from your own network and other methods.
  • Building long-lasting relationships with customers across the UK and driving increased sales.
  • Visiting customer sites and developing relationships.
  • Negotiation of terms and contracts.

 

The ideal candidate will have worked within the food and drinks sector including food and drink production and food service. You will ideally have worked with smaller retailers as opposed to the Big 4 supermarkets and understand the complexities around the food and drinks supply chain. You will be a positive and influential experienced sales ambassador for the multiple brands our clients work with and be able to confidently present to clients face to face. You will be relentless in your sales approach when looking to chase and convert leads and you will want to enjoy a highly rewarding and successful career within a highly innovative business.
