CRG Medical Services are looking for a Mental Health Clinical Lead to join our teams of highly skilled healthcare professionals in HMP Chelmsford.

Reporting to the Partnership Integration Manager, you will manage the Mental Health services at HMP Chelmsford on a day-to-day basis, ensuring we are providing a high standard of clinical care to our patients and an appropriate clinical service to our customer.

You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining close liaison with staff at all levels, ensuring excellent customer relationships and involvement of other key stakeholders.

In conjunction with the Medical Director, Operations Director and Clinical Governance Director, you will ensure that local processes comply with national clinical governance standards.

What you need for the role:

  • Experience as a Registered Senior Clinician with at least 5 years post registration experience
  • Previous line management experience
  • Evidence and maintenance of CPD
  • In depth knowledge of the Mental Health Act
