HR Assistant (Maternity Cover)
Location: Willerby
Salary: Up to £21,000

My client, an exciting marketing organisation based in Willerby, near Hull are looking for an experienced HR Assistant to cover an 8 month fixed term contract due to maternity leave.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the role requires strong organisation and administration skills and someone who can manage their own workload.

The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
• Providing first level guidance on applying HR Policies and Procedures
• Processing all paperwork and relevant actions related to Starters and Leavers, including Inductions.
• Maintaining the HRIS with accurate and up to date employee information, including; absences, contractual changes, appraisals, training etc
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation inline with Data Protection Act
• Booking training requirements and track the monthly and quarterly spend
• Tracking and collating New Starter Probationary Reviews
• Coordinating actions in regards to fire alarm testing, staff lunch, H&S/First Aid training, Risk Assessments

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
• At least 12 months HR Admin experience
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to work to their own initiative
• Exceptional IT skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
