Ashley Kate Finance are working exclusively with a respected food manufacturer based in London, supporting them in the search for an experienced Accounts Assistant who can hit the ground running.

This is a hands-on, office-based role where you'll play a vital part in the day-to-day running of the finance function. The business is growing fast, so they’re looking for someone proactive, detail-focused, and not afraid to get stuck in.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Maintaining accurate purchase and sales ledgers
• Reconciling bank accounts and ledgers
• Supporting the month-end close and reporting process
• Posting journals, including accruals and prepayments
• Assisting with VAT returns and payroll processing

What You’ll Bring:

• AAT part or fully qualified (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years in a similar finance role
• Experience with SAGE 200 (advantageous)
• Strong attention to detail and a practical, can-do attitude

The Details:

• Office-based role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm
• Must have the right to work in the UK
• Immediate start preferred
