We are currently working with a well-established, family-run SME in the Agriculture Industry who are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger or Purchase Ledger Manager to join their growing finance team based in Annan (DG12).

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing of purchase invoices
  • Managing the purchase ledger function end-to-end
  • Performing supplier statement reconciliations
  • Supporting month-end close processes
  • Liaising with internal departments and suppliers
  • Ensuring accuracy of ledger entries and maintaining up-to-date records

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a purchase ledger role (management experience advantageous)
  • Strong working knowledge of Sage
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (desirable)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced SME environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Qualifications

  • AAT qualified / studying
  • CIMA part-qualified / qualified
  • Or QBE (Qualified by Experience)
