Internship Details: Duration:  August 2024- August 2025

Location: Leatherhead - The hybrid working pattern at Leatherhead entails working 2-3 days in the office and the remaining days remotely.

Available Positions: Internships in various departments including research & development, marketing, finance, supply chain, IT, and more.

Eligibility: Open to all students passionate about animal health, regardless of academic discipline or level of experience.

Job purpose

The role is based at our UK HQ in Leatherhead and is an opportunity to work with a variety of skilled individuals in the Animal Health industry and experts in their professional field. The overall purpose of the role is to work alongside the team of Head Office, supporting them towards achieving their commercial and strategic goals.

 

This role supports the team to ensure delivery of activities such as

  • rebate calculation and payment
  • Participate in commercial operations  projects
  • cluster initiatives including corporate, parasiticide, pain and dermatology projects,
  • Data quality, management and governance throughout different data sets and systems in the UK ensuring accurate and insightful data is available to BU’s as per their agreed strategic priorities.
  • Commercial activities including field engagement and tender proposal creation.
  • Customer and product mapping enabling our systems to extract, translate and present data accurately.
  • Investigating and resolving field issues with data and systems – interacting within cluster and above cluster in support of resolution

 

This role supports the team to ensure delivery of activities such as projects, new product launches, training interventions and new services – all of which aim to satisfy the business units strategic objectives and comply with regional and local policies and procedures.

 

During your time at Zoetis, you can expect to develop key planning, project management and communication skills as well as developing operational expertise. You will gain a good understanding of how a support function delivers targeted support and solutions to Business Units.

 

You will gain invaluable experience of working in a fast-paced, fluid, complex business environment, learning how to prioritise, multi-task and flex your skills and working style to meet the needs of the business.

 

Core Responsibilities

Business Unit Support
- Provide competent and professional administrative support to commercial operations and business support services as required
- Plan, organise and prioritise requests in order to meet deadlines, team expectations and own workload
- Work with commercial business units to venue source, plan and organise commercial events and meetings across Ireland, co-ordinating all logistics

Compliance
- Maintain high standards of business conduct and compliance, adhering particularly to Pharmacovigilance Policy, Global vet Policy, Zoetis values and local codes of practice

Training & Qualifications - Current undergraduate student in relevant field to the internship being recruited.

Experience - No experience is required for this role


Travel Requirement - Occasional travel within the UK
