Workshop Maintenance Engineer
Salary: Up to £30,000
Hours: 44h week
Job Description:

As a Workshop Maintenance Engineer, you will be conducting machinery maintenance around the workshop as well as machining and manufacturing holding fixtures for component parts. You will also conduct general machining and fabrication tasks. This will require you to be able to read drawings and assist with design when needed
If you are methodical, have a proactive approach to continuous improvement, able to work well and communicate within a team, and have an eye for fine detail. Please apply for the role.
Skills & Experience:
- Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship and experience
- Be Able to operate manual lathes, milling machines.
- You should also be able to operate 3 Axis CNC/Manual milling machines.
- You will need to use precise measuring devices and instruments
- Knowledge of health and safety – for example COSHH
- You will need to have experience with MIG, TIG and gas welding
- Be Computer literate
- Must have a flexible approach to working in a modern manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work to deadlines is essential
Salary: Up to £30,000
Hours: 44h week
