Quality Assurance Manager
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Manager to join an excellent electronics manufacturer in the Bordon, Hampshire area.
With no day ever being the same in the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for a small team, providing each with support and direction. You will also maintain the ISO 9001 & 14001 certifications, be a Lean Manufacturing Champion and support the company as it grows and developed new technologies and products.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop product quality plans for design and production stages
- Review failure mode analysis reports and complete non- conformance reports to implement corrective and preventive actions
- Manage Internal and external audits
- Take part in projects to improve yields and reduce waste and costs to the business.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Degree qualified or equivalent within an engineering discipline
- Demonstrable experience within manufacturing Quality and 5 + years in supervisory / management
- Strong Knowledge of electronics manufacturing. Additionally knowledge of IATF 16949 would be advantageous
- History of implementing Lean methodologies and process mapping tools – Ideally Siz Sigma qualified
