Warehouse Supervisor – Permanent Role

Monday to Friday | 06:00 – 15:00

Starting salary: £30,000

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their busy Distribution Centre in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on supervisor who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within a fast-paced logistics environment.

The Role

As Warehouse Supervisor, you will support the DC Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations while mentoring and developing the warehouse team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, safety compliance, and performance standards across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day DC operations
• Lead, support, mentor, and develop warehouse operatives
• Manage resource planning, holiday cover, and shift coordination
• Maintain structured end-of-day and shift handover reporting
• Monitor KPIs and implement improvements where required
• Ensure PO and STO activity is completed within company guidelines
• Support site Health & Safety standards and incident reporting processes
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, problem-solving tools)
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

About You

We’re looking for someone proactive, approachable, and confident in making decisions within a warehouse environment.

You will ideally have:

• At least 5 years’ experience within a distribution centre or similar setting
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong understanding of inbound and outbound logistics
• Knowledge of post-Brexit compliance requirements
• Experience using SAP
• Good IT skills (Word & Excel)
• Excellent communication skills
• A hands-on approach and willingness to support the team when needed
