Paralegal (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Location: Melbourne (Hybrid)
Reports to: General Counsel
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Paralegal to join a high-performing Operations team, supporting the General Counsel and Compliance Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for a capable legal or compliance professional seeking a stable, long-term paralegal role in a purpose-driven and intellectually engaging in-house environment. The position can be structured as either full-time or part-time, offering flexibility while maintaining meaningful responsibility and impact.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the legal and compliance function, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Support

Provide high-quality legal administrative support to the General Counsel

Draft and review standard agreements including NDAs, consultancy agreements, and lease documentation

Assist with drafting and updating workplace policies and internal procedures

Support ad hoc legal, governance, and work health & safety projects
Compliance & Governance

Maintain and update compliance registers, including training and trading records

Support investor and government reporting obligations, including quarterly reporting

Coordinate and manage external due diligence questionnaires and reviews

Assist with ASIC and company secretarial-related tasks

Support internal audit processes and ongoing compliance monitoring
About You
You are an experienced paralegal or legal/compliance professional looking for a long-term in-house role where you can contribute meaningfully and enjoy stability.
You will bring:

A Bachelor of Laws / Business, or a Diploma/Certificate in Legal Studies

Prior experience in a law firm, corporate legal team, or compliance environment (financial services experience highly regarded)

Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills

Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

An interest in improving processes, including through the use of AI or legal technology tools
