Successful Engineering company based in the Somerville area in the South East suburbs, specialising in the design and manufacture of equipment for various industries that has been in business for over 30 years, now has a vacancy for a manual Lathe Trades person.

This is a new position that will involve turning of various components, both large and small of high tolerances and machining various materials.

Your role will be to operate, and set manual Lathe setting your speeds and feeds and doing low volume jobbing type turning work. You will work on manual machines only and possibly get involved in some general trade fitting or assembly work.

This is a great opportunity where you will utilise your trade and especially turning skills. This is also a long term permanent full time position in a company with branches around the globe.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Lathe - Conventional Turning exp
• Trade Qualifications
• Excellent communication skills.
