Great opportunity to join a successful Engineering supplier and work-holding solutions business based in the South Eastern suburbs. This well-established organisation has a strong and stable history supplying CNC workshop equipment, tooling and manufacturing solutions throughout Australia.

They are now seeking an additional Technical Sales Engineer to support the Sales Manager through business development, account management and technical support activities.

This role will involve visiting active distributors, re-sellers and end users while providing technical advice and application support across a premium range of engineering and CNC products.

You will be responsible for supporting distributors and reseller networks throughout Vic, conducting product demonstrations, technical training and assisting customers with manufacturing and machining solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC Machinist, CNC Programmer, Applications Engineer or someone with a strong technical manufacturing background looking to move into a long-term technical sales and applications role while remaining within the manufacturing industry.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Technical support or applications experience
  
• Technical sales or account management skills ideal
  
• Strong CNC machining or manufacturing knowledge
  
• Ability to build relationships with customers and distributors
  
• Good communication skills – verbal and written
  
• Trade or engineering background highly regarded
  
• Current driver’s licence

Excellent salary package on offer including base salary, super, bonus structure and company vehicle or allowance.
