This is a great opportunity to join a successful and growing Advanced Manufacturing business supplying industries such as Defence, Aerospace, Medical and Rail.

This well-established company specialises in precision engineering and manufacturing and is known for quality, reliability and on-time delivery. They are now seeking an experienced Senior Warehouse & Inventory Controller to take ownership of their stores and logistics function.

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for overseeing all material handling, inventory control and warehouse operations, while supervising a Stores Assistant and ensuring smooth workflow between production, suppliers and dispatch.

You will play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy, supporting production, and ensuring materials and finished goods are delivered on time.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Forklift licence and manual driver’s licence
• Strong experience in warehouse / stores / inventory control
• Manufacturing or engineering environment experience ideal
• Experience with inventory systems (M1 ERP ideal)
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Hands-on approach with attention to detail
• Understanding of OH&S and quality systems (AS9100 / ISO9001 ideal)

Your role will include receiving and dispatching goods, maintaining accurate stock levels, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, supervising the stores function, and ensuring the warehouse operates safely and efficiently.
