This successful engineering that employes about 400 staff and manufactures special purpose machines that are sold worldwide is looking for Maintenance Fitter to join their successful Engineering business in the Boronia area.

This well-established company has a strong stable history in high-end and high precision manufacturing, they have the latest CNC machines and now need a maintenance/service technician that will maintain their CNC and conventional machines plus general plant maintenance.

This is a new position that will involve various tasks. such as Preventative Maintenance, breakdowns and Troubleshooting, and Problem Solving. It is necessary to be flexible and have the skills to handle a must repair now and manage the service of the machines too.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, your key responsibilities will include being part of the a maintenance team servicing and maintaining high-end CNC machines and other equipment. This is a high-end workshop that is the envy of many machine shops and they offer all staff a clean and modern environment and excellent wages.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Relevant trade qualifications in Mechanical Fitting
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
• High attention to detail
• Be versatile to undertake various task in a day
• Must be Australian Resident
• Afternoon shift only
