A successful and well-established precision engineering company based in Melbourne’s South Eastern suburbs, specialising in machining and manufacturing high quality components for the motorsport industry both locally and internationally, requires an experienced CNC Milling Machinist to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who has strong CNC Milling and CADCAM programming experience. The role will involve manufacturing precision components in a modern workshop environment using CNC machining centres and CADCAM software.

This position will involve low volume, high precision work and would suit someone who enjoys working on quality components rather than high production work. The company has a strong reputation within the motorsport industry and offers excellent working conditions.

Your role will involve setting, operating and programming CNC Milling Machines, producing precision components to tight tolerances. Experience using CADCAM software will be highly regarded.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Trade qualifications (Fitter & Machinist or similar)
• Strong CNC Milling machining skills
• Ability to set and program CNC machining centres
• CADCAM programming experience highly desirable
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship
