Well-established Engineering and Machine Manufacturing business in the Boronia area needs an Engineer or Tradesperson with Mechanical and Electrical skills for machine Testing, Commissioning and Applications work.

This is a great opportunity to join a large employer with over 400 staff.

Your role will be working with the Engineering teams in the Mechanical and Electrical assembly area plus the production team providing support to improve the production flow through reporting production issues, eliminating errors via fault recording and reporting, and ensuring quality issues or faults are addressed during the commissioning process.

You will also be providing training to operators and the safe operation of the machine, tooling, manufacturing process, and ancillary equipment.

You will need excellent computer skills plus an ability to communicate at all levels. An understanding of manufacturing processes is a must.

To apply for this position YOU MUST HAVE the following:

• Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering qualifications.
• OR Trade qualifications with technical fault finding experience.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• CNC machining knowledge.
• Computer literacy.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
