A successful and well-established engineering business located in Melbourne’s South-East is seeking an experienced CNC Cylindrical Grinder to join their precision machining team. This company manufactures high-accuracy, low-volume components for a wide range of industries and is known for its strong reputation in quality and workmanship.

This is a newly created role due to ongoing growth. You will need to be flexible, adaptable, and willing to work across different tasks as required. The workshop environment is highly team-focused, with most employees being multi-skilled and supporting each other to meet production demands.

The Position:
You will be responsible for operating, setting, and programming CNC cylindrical grinding equipment to produce high-precision components. The work requires strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of precision grinding techniques.

To be successful you will have:

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience in CNC Cylindrical Grinding
• Ability to set and program CNC grinding machines
• High-precision machining skills and strong inspection/measurement abilities
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

An excellent hourly rate is on offer, along with a long-term permanent position within a respected engineering business.
