This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful Engineering business in the Croydon area. This company has been around for many years with long term staff and needs a senior trades person to assist in various duties such as up skilling their team.

They work in varioous high-end industries such as defence, medical and oil and gas. Very secure company.
This well-established business requires a skilled CNC Machinist / Cam programmer. They need someone with skills in setting and operating Okuma
twin-spindle, multi-tasking CNC horizontal lathe, machining of complex parts. Someone with Mastercam skills.

Your role will be to operate and look after Okuma machines and assist in upskilling current staff. You will report to and work along side the production manager. Experience in Cam programming and using Mastercam or other would be ideal.

You will need experience machining non ferrous materials and ferrous materials and machining high end components. Low volume and some production.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Trade qualifications
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
• Mastercam experience ideal
• Okuma Horizontal lathe skills ideal
• Be versatile to undertake various task in a day

They are offering $60ph plus a very secure and rewarding position to the candidate that has the right qualifications and experience plus a long term permanent position.
