This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful Engineering business in the eastern suburbs. This well-established company has a strong, stable history in various high-tech industries. They design and manufacture components and tooling using the latest CNC and Automation technology.

Established over 40 years ago, they manufacture precision components, fabricated parts, and large equipment and supply services to various industries. They have established themselves as a well-regarded company in their industries.

They have been going through a growth stage for the last few years and now wish to source an Operations Manager with Manufacturing experience to work alongside the owners, assist in running the operations, and take control of all things manufacturing.

Your role as the operations manager is to manage and control day-to-day operations. You will also look after staff management and play a crucial role in ensuring that the business's manufacturing operations run smoothly.

You will oversee all of the business's daily operations and the day-to-day workflow of production supervisory and engineering staff. You will also provide leadership, direction, and coordination of all manufacturing, production control, maintenance, and quality and ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way.

Your role's main focus will be assisting the owners in managing the operations and team, which will, in turn, bring out the best and contribute to best practices and productivity.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Business or Engineering or Trade qualifications.
• Manufacturing background.
• Large equipment build experience.
• Excellent people skills
• Excellent computer skills.
• Strong communication skills.
