This is a great opportunity to join a successful and growing supplier to the Advanced Manufacturing sector that specialises in high-end CNC machining, automation and engineering solutions.

This organisation supplies some of the best manufacturing companies in Australia across Aerospace, Defence, Medical, Rail and general precision engineering industries.

Due to continued growth, they now require an additional Technical Sales Engineer to cover the QLD region.

This position is ideal for a CNC Machinist, CNC Programmer or Applications Engineer looking to move into a long-term technical sales career while staying within the engineering and manufacturing industry.

You will be dealing directly with manufacturing companies, discussing machining processes, production improvements, tooling and technical solutions.

Your role will involve managing an existing client base, developing new business relationships and providing technical support and solutions to customers throughout the region.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Trade or engineering background
• Strong CNC machining knowledge
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Good communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to speak with machinists, production managers and engineers
• Sales experience ideal but not essential
• Applications or CNC programming experience highly regarded
• Current driver’s licence
