This is a great opportunity for a Trade Assistant to join a successful Aviation Lifting Equipment Specialist Company in Sydney. We are looking for an experienced TA with mechanical assembly experience or a trades person and forklift licence who can assist the technicians with carrying out inspections, testing and maintenance of lifting equipment and tooling within the Aviation Industry. 

This new position will involve a variety of tasks, so it is necessary that you are flexible with your skills. Reporting to the Technical Engineers, in addition to working alongside the Inspection Technicians.

You must have a high attention to detail as well as experience with assembling and disassembling machinery. Interstate travel is a part of the role and a non-smoker is preferred as most sites are non smoking. You will also need to go through Federal police checks and medicals.

Role requirements:

• Drivers licence & own transport
• AFP & ASIC Checks required
• Medical assessment (to be completed prior to commencement of the role)
• Mechanical assembly experience
• Experience as a trade assistant or supporting technical role
