This well-established and growing engineering business with 30 plus staff specialising in manufacturing solutions is seeking an experienced Factory Manager to lead and oversee its daily operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing production, workforce performance, quality control and operational efficiency within a busy manufacturing environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Overseeing daily factory operations to ensure efficiency and safety
• Planning and optimising production schedules to meet targets
• Managing quality control and regulatory compliance
• Supervising workforce allocation, timesheets and job planning
• Driving cost reduction and operational improvement initiatives
• Leading and motivating a team of 15 shop floor employees
• Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders

We are seeking a proactive leader with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to continuous improvement. The successful candidate will bring practical engineering knowledge combined with strong people management capability.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• Proven experience in a Factory Manager / Production Manager role
• Strong background in engineering or manufacturing environments
• Experience managing teams of 15+ staff
• Production planning and scheduling experience
• Strong understanding of quality systems and compliance
• Cost control and waste reduction experience
• Knowledge of workplace safety and regulatory requirements
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
