Position: Senior CNC Machinist

Location: Commutable from West London, Ealing, Brixton, Hammersmith, Wimbledon

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000

We're seeking an experienced Senior CNC Machinist to join a prestigious company based in London. This role involves adjusting programs, setting up, and operating machining centres to produce high-quality parts according to specifications, while also conducting self-checks on work. Experience with both 3 and 5 axis CNC machines is essential.

Key skills required for the Senior CNC Machinist role include:

• Adjusting programs using Heidenhain.
• Interpreting technical drawings to produce parts accurately.
• Running multiple machines when necessary to meet production demands.
• Working on small batches of high-quality parts with a focus on getting it right the first time.
• Supervising shop floor activity, overseeing four machining centres.

The ideal candidate for the Senior CNC Machinist position will have the following experience:

• Setting, operating, and programming CNC vertical machining centres and lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• While experience with EDM machines is advantageous, it's not required as training can be provided.
