Mechanical Assembly Technician
Location: Marston Green, Yardley, Coleshill, Garrett’s Green
Rate: £10 per hour
This is a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Mechanical Assembly Technician to work with a leading business who specialise in the design, manufacture and assembly of industrial products and machinery. There is opportunity for progression in various directions within the business. Training will be available to become a skilled operator into roles such as fabrication, product design, electrical engineering, production supervision etc.
Your role as Mechanical Assembly Technician will ensure that machines are built to specification, whilst working as part of a dedicated production team and reporting to the department Team Leader.
Duties include:
- Assembly work involving hand tools/power tools
- Simple fabrication sub assembly using jigs, saws, pillar drills, fly presses
- Final packing on assembly line
- Picking for production
- Quality control
- Adhere to the company’s quality standards, factory rules and HR policies.
Working hours: 8am - 5pm Mon-Thurs, 8am – 2pm Friday
