Business Development Manager

Salary: £30,000 OTE £60,000

Location: Cannock, Telford, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall, Birmingham

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for creating new sales within the retail, and hospitality sectors with a mixture of independent sites and small to medium-sized groups. You will be selling a mobile point-of-sale system that combines the latest ePOS and cloud-based technology. You will be driven by targets and your ability to bring in new business, resulting in the potential to earn a highly competitive commission structure.

The Role:

• You will be responsible for growing new business within independent retailers, pubs, restaurants, coffee shops
• Proactive in new business activity; cold calling, networking, email, LinkedIn, referrals, events, and sector specific fairs
• You will spend the most of your time with your defined set of customers, understanding their business challenge and goals, growing the business by offering tailored solutions
• Work in a consultative sales approach and will have and maintain a high-level of sector knowledge and experience

To be considered for the position of Business Development Manager, you will meet the following criteria:

• A strong and demonstrable background in field sales, business development, territory sales or a combination
• Possess a great attitude to be a consistent high performer and be a key dynamic of a winning sales team
• Solid understanding of the retail and hospitality sectors, preferably with a sound base of contacts
• Full UK driving license

• Uncapped sales bonus with OTE £60,000
